Bir konser delisi olarak hayatımın herhalde en konser dolu haftasını Antalya'da yaşadım. Expo 2016 bana adeta hayatımın en güzel günlerini hediye etti. Özellikle sosyal medya hesaplarımdan bol bol paylaşımını yaptığım bu günlere şimdi sizleri tekrar götüreceğim çünkü blogumda da dönüp baktıkça hatırlayacağım güzel bir yazı kalsın istiyorum :)
As a concert freak, I spent such a week full of concerts in Antalya. Expo 2016 gave me the best days of my life. I'll take you back to those days -in which I shared posts a lot on my social media accounts- because I want to leave a post here that will make me remember those days happily whenever I read :)
Benim tek amacım Ricky Martin'i izlemekti çünkü çocukluğumdan beri ona aşığım. Ancak Expo bana Elton John'ı, Tarkan'ı ve OneRepublic'i izlemem için bilet hediye etti ve onlara karşı kayıtsız kalamadım. 9 Eylül'de Antalya'ya indim ve 19 Eylül'e kadar orada kaldım. Günlerim konser, müzik ve eğlence dolu geçti. Birçok arkadaş edindim ve açıkçası hepsini özlüyorum.
My only intention was to listen to Ricky Martin because I've had a crush on him since I was a child. However, Expo gave me free tickets to see Elton John, Tarkan and OneRepublic, so I couldn't resist and attended all of them. I landed on 9th of September and stayed in Antalya until the 19th of September. Those days were packed with concerts, music and fun. I made lots of friends and now I miss them a lot.
Sir Elton John'u sahnede canlı izlemek çok eğlenceliydi. O kadar enerjikti ki asla 1947 doğumlu demezdiniz. Ekranları kullandı çoğunlukla ve seyirci olarak bayağı dans ettik.
It was quite entertaining to see Sir Elton John live on the stage. He has such a great energy that you wouldn't tell he was born in 1947. He used the screens for most of the time and as the audience we danced a lot.
Elton John ayrıca konser iptalleri konusuna da değindi. Gelip konser vermesi gereken ancak güvende hissetmedikleri için Türkiye konserlerini iptal eden pek çok sanatçı vardı. Kendisinin de bu durumla ilgili bilgilendirildiğini ancak yine de gelmek istediğini söyledi ve diğer sanatçıları da aynı şeyi yapması için teşvik etti. Gelmeyerek ne kaçırdıklarını bilmediklerini ifade etti.
He also touched upon the concert cancellation issues. There were many artists that were supposed to come but they cancelled their shows due to not feeling safe in Turkey. He said that he was also informed about the issues in Turkey but he wanted to come anyway and he encouraged all the artists to do the same. He said that they didn't know what they were missing.
Konser boyunca yeni albümünden de ve "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word", "Candle in the Wind" ve "Your Song" gibi bilinen şarkılarından da söyledi.
During the concert he performed from his new album as well as his most known songs such as "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word", "Candle in the Wind" and "Your Song".
Ve 12 Eylül'de Ricky Martin'i kendi gözlerimle görme imkanına eriştim. O kadar yakışıklıydı ki ben ve arkadaşım Cemre gözümüzü ondan alamadık. Her şarkı için kostümünü değiştirdi ve koreografisi inanılmazdı. Tüm gösteri inanılmazdı. O ve dansçıları harika bir performans sergiledi.
And on the 12th of September I got to Ricky Martin with my own eyes. He was so handsome that I and my friend Cemre couldn't keep our eyes off him. He changed his costume for each song and his choreography was incredible. The whole show was incredible actually. He and his dancers put on quite an outstanding performance.
"Cup of Life", "Livin' La Vida Loca" ve "She Bangs" gibi hepimizin ezbere bildiği şarkılarının yanı sıra son albümü "A Quien Quiera Escuchar"dan da "La Mordidita" gibi popüler şarkılarını da söyledi. Performansın en ilgi çekici kısmı şüphesiz "Adios" şarkısını Ayşe Hatun Önal ile söylemesiydi. Her ne kadar heyecandan Ayşe Hatun Önal sönük kalsa da Ricky Martin elinden geldiğinde ona yardımcı oldu. Biz tabii ki ondan çok Ricky Martin'i izledik.
Along with the songs we know by heart such as "Cup of Life", "Livin' La Vida Loca" and "She Bangs", he also sang songs such as "La Mordidita" from his latest album "A Quien Quiera Escuchar". Without doubt, the most interesting part of the performance was where he sang "Adios" with Ayşe Hatun Önal. She was pale beside Ricky Martin but he did his best to make it up for her lack. We, for sure, watched Ricky Martin rather than Ayşe Hatun Önal.
Bize birçok kez baktı çünkü ben ve arkadaşım çılgınlar gibi dans ettik. Şunu kabul edelim ki çoğumuz çocukken ona aşıktık. Onu sahnede görmek benim için hayallerin gerçekleşmesi gibiydi. Ayrıca Elton John'un yaptığı konuşmanın aynısını yaptı ve Türkiye'nin ne kadar güzel olduğundan, sanatçıların buraya gelmekten çekinmemesi gerektiğinden çünkü her şeyin harika olduğundan bahsetti. Tekrar teşekkürler Ricky bey!
He looked at us many times because I and my friend lost ourselves and danced like a crazy. Let's accept this fact. Many of us were in love with him when we were children. It was like a dream coming true for me to see him on the stage. He also made the same talk that Elton John did. He said that Turkey is a great country and artists should not abstain from coming here because everything is great. Thank you again Mr. Martin!
Ve şimdi sıra Tarkan'da! Türkiye'nin Ricky Martin'i desek ona yanlış olmaz herhalde. Zaten arkadaşımla aslında danslarının ve hareketlerinin ne kadar da birbirlerine benzediklerini fark ettik. 17 Eylül'de de Tarkan'ı yine çok yakından izleme fırsatımız oldu ve onun da çocukluk aşklarımdan biri olduğunu söylememe gerek bile yok.
And now it's Tarkan's turn! I believe it wouldn't be wrong to call him Turkey's Ricky Martin. I and my friend realized that their dance moves and gestures were quite like each other anyway. We had the chance to see Tarkan real close on the 17 of September and I don't even need to mention the fact that he was one of my childhood crushes.
"Kış Güneşi", "Şımarık" ve "Şıkıdım" gibi eski şarkılarının yanında yeni şarkılarından "Cuppa" ve diğerlerini de söyledi. Sahnede asla sabit durmadı ve hepimizi eğlendirdi.
Along with his old song "Kış Güneşi", "Şımarık" and "Şıkıdım", he also performed his new songs such as "Cuppa". He never stood still and entertained us all.
Antalya'yı çok sevdiğini söyledi. Zaten bu Expo'daki ikinci konseriydi. "Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım" gibi farklı tarzlardan şarkılar da söyledi. Ayrıca konseri dinleyenlerin çoğu yabancıydı ve bu çok ilgimi çekti. Özellikle Ruslar çoğunluktaydı.
He told that he loved Antalya. This was his second concert in Expo. He also sang different type of songs such as "Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım". Besides the audience was mostly foreigners and this caught my attention. Especially there were many Russians.
Bana bu konser serisinde en sürpriz olanı OneRepublic'ti çünkü konser gününe dört gün kala duyuruldu neredeyse. Expo'nun davetiyesiyle bu 10 günlük süreçteki son konserimi OneRepublic ile 18 Eylül'de noktalamış bulundum. OneRepublic'i daha önce İstanbul'da 30 Mayıs 2015'te izlemiştim. Bu konserinde eski şarkılarıyla beraber yeni albümleri "Oh My My"dan da şarkılar seslendirdiler.
The most surprising concert in these series of concerts was OneRepublic for me because it was announced almost 4 days before the show. I ended my 10 days long concert series with OneRepublic thanks to Expo's invitation on the 18th of September. I saw OneRepublic before in Istanbul on 30th of May, 2015. In this concert they performed their old songs as well as new ones from their latest album "Oh My My".
Ryan Tedder'ı çok seviyorum. Çok enerjik ve sempatik. Asla sabit durmuyor ve hepimizle göz kontağı kurmaya çalışıyor her konserde. Sesinden bahsetmeme gerek bile yok zaten. Kendisi kesinlikle bir dahi ve belki de bu yüzden biraz hiperaktif.
I love Ryan Tedder a lot. He is so energetic and lovable. He never stands still and tries to establish an eye contact with each one of us. I don't even need to mention his voice. He is a genius and I believe that's why he is a bit hyperactive.
Geçen seneki konserinde olduğu gibi sahneye birini çıkarttı bunda da. Çıkan kız hem yabancıydı hem de çok heyecanlıydı. Bu yüzden oldukça komik sahnelere şahit olduk. Kızla snap çekilip onu yerine yolladı Ryan. Sonra sahneden inerek yanımıza geldi ve elini tuttum! Evet burada biraz fangirl'lük yapıyorum ama kendisini gerçekten çok seviyorum. O kadar yakın olmak inanılmazdı. Tesadüf eseri o anı videoya da çekmişim. Ayrıca bir önceki konserinde olduğu gibi bunda da penasını aldım. Sanırım koleksiyonunu yapacağım artık :)
He took someone to the stage from the audience just as he did back then in Istanbul. The girl was a foreigner and she was so excited. Thus we witnessed some funny moments. Ryan took snaps with her and then sent her back. Later he came down and I held his hand! Yes, I'm being a fangirl a bit here but I do like him a lot. It was incredible to be that close to him. Lucky of me, I somehow recorded that moment. Besides I got his guitar pick just as I did in Istanbul. I guess I'll be collecting all his guitar picks from now on :)
Konser anılarımın sonuna geldik. Benim için inanılmaz güzel bir deneyimdi ve bir kez daha konserler olmadan yaşayamayacağımı fark ettim. Hem yeni insanlarla tanışıyorum, hem sevdiğim sanatçılara yakın olabiliyorum, hem de dünyanın gerçekliğinden o an kopabiliyorum. Daha ne isterim!
It's the end of my concert stories. It was an unbelievable experience for me and I realized once again that I cannot live without concerts. I get to meet new people, be close to the artists I love and get away from the reality of the world at that moment. What more could I ask for?
