Hello from another concert! It's been such a nice summer :)

Latin dünyasının yıldızlarından biri J Balvin bu yaz ülkemize de uğradı. Gelmeden önce sahne gösterilerini izlediğim için oldukça heyecanlıydım. Zaten şarkıları oldukça popüler, tüm ülkeye İspanyolca öğretti diyebilirim :) Ben zaten ikinci yabancı dilim İspanyolca olduğu için dinlemekten büyük keyif alıyorum. Dans etmeyi de seviyorum. Kısacası J Balvin konserinde eğlenmeme gibi bir ihtimalim söz konusu bile değildi :)

One of the stars of the Latin world, J Balvin, came to our country this summer. I was quite excited to see him because I watched his concert shows online before. The songs are quite popular already, I can say that he  has taught whole country Spanish :) I enjoy listening to him since my second language is Spanish. I also like to dance. In short, there was no possibility of not having fun at the J Balvin concert :)

Konserin ana sponsorlarından birisi GUESS'ti. O güne özel pop up store açmıştı. J Balvin ile ortak koleksiyonları vardı. Sadece yurt dışında satılıyordu. Yine konsere özel ürünleri de getirmişlerdi. O standa da uğramadan edemedim tabii :) Çok güzel ürünler vardı. Bir crop top beğenip aldım. Buradan bakabilirsiniz. One of the main sponsors of the concert was GUESS. They opened a special pop up store for the day. They had collections made by J Balvin. This was only sold abroad. They also brought special products to the concert. Of course I could not help but stop at that stand :) There were very nice items. I liked and bought a crop top. You can check it out here. GUESS doesn't show these products for sale on its website right now, but you can see them when you type in the search engine. Have a look there if you intend to buy.

İşten çıkar çıkmaz konsere koştum. Dolayısıyla önce çıkanları biraz kaçırdım ama Abdullah İnal'a yetiştim. Onun sahnesini çok seviyorum çünkü playlist'i tam benlik! Doğum günümde çaldığım her şarkıyı da o da çalıyor. Her seferinde çok eğlendiriyor. Sonrasında Edis çıktı. Onun da İngilizce ve Türkçe karışık şarkılar söylemesi ilginçti. Derken J Balvin'in sırası geldi. Devasa ekranları kullanmaya başladılar ancak videolarda gördüğüm şeyleri getirmemişti. Belki de lojistik sebeplerle getirememişti, bilemiyorum. Yine de isterdim. Sahneye koşarak çıktı ve hepimizi anında coşturmaya başladı!

As soon as I left work, I ran to the concert. So I missed shows a bit, but I managed to catch Abdullah Inal. I love his stage because the playlist is almost made for me! He plays every song I play on my birthday. It's always fun. Then Edis came out. It was interesting for me to see that he sang songs in English and Turkish. Then it was J Balvin's turn. They started using these huge screens, but they didn't bring the props I saw in the videos. Maybe he couldn't bring them for logistical reasons, I don't know. I still wish they did though. The moment he came out on the stage and he got us all excited at once!

Ben son albümünü çok sevdim. En sevdiğim şarkıları Loco Contigo, Mi Cama, Ginza, Mi Gente. Düetlerden en sevdiğim Say My Name, I Like It ve Downtown.

One Love Festivali (20.07.2019 @ Parkorman)

Yaklaşık 4 senedir hasret kaldığımız One Love Festivali sonunda geri döndü! Festivale aç geçirdiğimiz bir yaz mevsimi olsa üzülürdüm açıkçası. Parkorman'da gerçekleşen bu festival gündüz başlayıp gece devam etti. Ufak bir sıkıntı sebebiyle pazara da sarktı ama gayet her şey güzeldi bence :)

One Love Festival, for which we have been waiting about 4 years, have come back! Frankly, I would have been sorry if we had spent the summer lacking such festival. This festival in Parkorman started in the morning and continued until the night. Due to a slight problem, they had to make a program in Sunday as well but I think everything other than that was fine :)

Festivallere eğer spesifik olarak en önden dinlemek istediğim biri yoksa öğlene doğru gidiyorum. Çok geç vakte kalmamaya çalışıyorum çünkü festival alanı zaten çok geniş ve gezecek çok yer oluyor. Nitekim alana vardığımda doğru kararı verdiğimi fark ettim çünkü çok güzel hazırlamışlardı ve o kadar büyüktü ki 14:00'te alana giriş yapmama rağmen hala görmediğim yerler kaldığını akşam tesadüfen fark ettim! Tabii güneş gittikten sonra oralarda fotoğraf çektirmenin bir anlamı da olmadığı için el sallayarak geçtim :)

I go to the festivals around noon if I don't have someone to listen specifically to from the front row. I try not to be too late because the festival area is already very large and there are plenty of stalls to visit. As a matter of fact, I realised that I made the right decision when I arrived at the area because they had prepared it very well and it was so big that even though I entered the area at 14:00, there were places left for me to see and I found out this by chance afterwards! Of course, after the sun went down, there was no point in taking photos, I passed by waving hands :)

İlk girdiğimizde info point bize bir harita ve rüzgar gülü verdi. Bu haritadaki 4 belirlenmiş noktaya gidip damga bastırdığımızda 17:00'ye kadar saat başı 25 kişiye JBL bluetooth hoparlör hediye ediyorlardı. Ben o sıcakta bu oyunla ve sıra beklemekle pek uğraşamadım ama 3 arkadaşım başarıyla tamamlayarak hak kazandı :) Onun dışında her standda oyunlar, fotoğraf çektirme alanları ve aktivite köşeleri vardı. Garanti BBVA'nın olduğu yerde top havuzu ve bileklik yapma atölyesi vardı. Malt Kafası, First Sakız ve Birlikte Güzel'in olduğu yerlerde de çerçeveli fotoğraf çıktısı alabiliyordunuz. Elimden geldiğince her yere uğramaya çalıştım çünkü gerçekten tam fotoğraf çektirmelik alanlar kurmuşlar :)

When we first entered, the info point gave us a map and a pinwheel. When we went to the 4 designated points on this map and got a stamp, they offered JBL bluetooth speakers to 25 people per hour until 17:00. I couldn't handle this game since waiting in that heat did not appeal to me, but 3 of my friends successfully completed it :) Other than that, each stand had games, photo-shooting areas and activity corners. At Garanti BBVA, there was a ball pool and bracelet making workshop. You could also print framed photos in places such as Malt Kafası, First Chewing Gum and Birlikte Güzel. I tried to stop by as much as I could because they really built a full photo shoot area :)

Saatleri bu şekilde öldürdükten sonra beklediğim kişiler sahneye çıkmaya başladı. Michael Kiwanuka ve Years & Years'ı ana sahne olan Birlikte Güzel sahnesinde dinleyip sonrasında koşa koşa Kendine Has sahnesinde Oh Land'i dinlemeye gidecektim. Çakışmaları beni çok üzmüştü ancak şans yine benden yana oldu ve Gaye Su Akyol'un geç çıkması sebebiyle Oh Land çok sonra çıkabildi. Her iki sahneyi de rahatça izleyebildim :) Years & Years'ın sahnesi harikaydı. Olly herkesi coşturdu. Çok eğlendik. Bitince dediğim gibi Oh Land'in sahnesine geçtim ancak saat 23:00'ü geçmesine rağmen hala çıkmamıştı. Sonrasında The Blaze'den duyuru geldi. Lojistik sebeplerden ötürü bugün sahneye çıkamayacakları, yarın sırf bunun için 18:00'de festival alanını açıp 21:00'de konser vereceklerini, bilekliklerin ertesi gün de geçerli olacağını söylediler. Tabii bu biraz insanları üzdü çünkü çoğu kişiden sadece The Blaze için de gelen vardı. Yine de ertesi gün de kalabalık bir ortam oldu ve sorunsuz bir şekilde festival bitti.

After killing time like this, the people I was waiting for started to come on the stage. I was going to listen to Michael Kiwanuka and Years & Years on the main stage - Birlikte Güzel, and then jog up and listen to Oh Land at Kendine Has stage. I was very upset by these conflicts, but luck was on my side again, and because of Gaye Su Akyol's late departure, Oh Land could get on the stage really late. I was able to watch both performances comfortably :) The Years & Years' staging was perfect. Olly excited everyone. We had so much fun. As I said, I went to Oh Land's stage later on, but she didn't come out until after 23:00. Then came the announcement from The Blaze. They said they couldn't go on stage that day for logistical reasons, that they would open the festival area at 18:00 the day after and give a concert at 21:00 just for this, and that the entry bracelets would be valid the next day. Of course this upset people a bit because most people had just come to see The Blaze from many different cities. Nevertheless, the next day there was also a crowded atmosphere and the festival ran smoothly.

Bu yazın bence en güzel festivali buydu. Gerçekten istediğimiz gibi eğlenebildiğimiz, müziğe doyduğumuz bir festivale açmışız. Hoş geldin One Love!

I think this was the most beautiful festival this summer. We had been hungry for a festival where we could really enjoy ourselves. Welcome back One Love!

P!NK Konseri (29.06.2019) @ Wembley Stadium

Hi all :)

Sonunda tam bir sene önce biletini aldığım konser geldi ve geçti. https://www.viagogo.com/ üzerinden Londra'daki konsere bilet aldım ve yaklaşık 200 GBP tutarında bir ödemem oldu (sahne önü olmazsa asla konserlere gitmem, biliyorsunuz :)). Bu konsere gitme hikayem aslında biraz değişik. Zaten Pink seven birisiyim ancak 2017'de Londra'da V Festival kapsamında kendisini zaten izlemiştim. Yazıya buradan ulaşabilirsiniz. O gün binlerce insan içerisinden Türk 2 kişiyle arkadaş oldum, Hande ve Elif'e buradan selamlar :) İnanılmaz güzel bir festivaldi ve sonrasında birbirimize söz verdik. Bir sonraki Pink konserinde buluşmak için sözleştik ve gerçekten bu 2 yıllık süreç içerisinde ben de bir daha İngiltere'ye gitme fırsatı bulamadım. Derken mayıs ayında Elif'in çıldırmasıyla beraber (çünkü kendisi aşırı hayranı) biz bir sene öncesinden Beautiful Trauma World Tour'un Londra ayağına bilet aldık. Bu da benim İngiltere'ye gitme bahanem oldu ve 2 yıl aradan sonra o çok sevdiğim ülkeye de gidebildim :)

At last the concert that I bought the tickets for months ago arrived and already passed. I bought my ticket from https://www.viagogo.com/ to the concert in London and I paid more or less 200 GBP (it is front row ticket, or else I would not go, you know it :)). The story behind this concert is a bit different to be honest. I already love Pink and I had the chance to see her performance at V festival in London, 2017 and you can read my post here. I made 2 Turkish friends out of thousands of people on that day. Hi to Hande and Elif :) It was an incredible festival and then we promised to see each other at the next Pink's concert. I also did not get a chance to visit UK again during that time. Then, as Elif began to get crazy (because she is a die-hard fan) we bought tickets for Beautiful Trauma World Tour in London, a year before the event. This happened to be my excuse to come back to UK, my beautiful country, again after 2 years :)

Tabii ki her konserde olduğu gibi sabahtan sıraya girdim. 07:30'da alanda olmamıza rağmen önümüzde 23 kişi vardı. Yine de sahne geniş olduğu için zaten ilk 70 kişi içinde dahi olsak en önde olacağımız garantiydi. Yanımızda yiyecek ve içeceklerle tüm güne hazır şekilde sırada bekledik. Tek sorun, İngiltere'deki en sıcak yaz gününün o güne denk gelmesiydi. Normalde sıradan yemek almak, tuvalete gitmek için çıkarken bu kez sırf gölgede biraz soluklanabilmek için girip çıktık. Saat 17:00 civarı kapılar açıldı ve içeri girdik. Wembley'e dair en sevdiğim şey, koşmadan sizi alana girmek zorunda bırakması. Herkes gayet medeni bir şekilde ilerleyerek sahneye indi. Tahmin ettiğim gibi güzel bir yerde durduk ve en önde konseri beklemeye başladık. Bu konseri, turneyi DVD yaparlarsa eklemek için kayıt altına alıyorlardı. En önde bizi de çekme ihtimalleri olduğu için izin kağıdı imzalattılar. Umarım DVD'de çıkmışızdır :)

Of course, as I do it for each concert, I got in the queue really early. We were at the stadium at 07:30 but there were already 23 people ahead of us. Since the stage was large, even if we ended up being in the first 70, it was certain that we would end up at the front row. We waited in the queue with food and drinks all day, ready. The only problem was, it was the hottest summer day in the UK to our luck. Normally we would leave the queue to get food or to go to the toilet but this time, we left the queue to be in the shade to get a little breath and cover ourselves. Around 17:00, the doors opened and we went inside. My favorite thing about Wembley is that they warn you not to run to the stage. Everyone proceeded in a very civilized way. As we guessed beforehand, we came to a beautiful place and started to wait for the concert in the first line. They were recording this concert in case they decided to make the tour DVD later on. They had us sign a paper because they had a chance of shooting us in the front line. I hope we made it to that DVD :)

Derken konser saati geldi. İnanılmaz bir sahne gösterisiyle içeri geldi. Yukarıda kendini avizeden sallandırarak "Get The Party Started" ile konseri başlattı. Danslar, sahne kurulumu ve tabii ki performansı harikaydı. İlk izlediğim zaman da aynı keyfi almıştım, yine aldım. Ben bu kez de Beyoncé konserinde yaptığım gibi ufak bir beyaz yalan söyleyerek pankart açtım ve doğum günüm olduğunu yazdım. Beyoncé konser yazımı da buradan okuyabilirsiniz. Her neyse, Pink tabii ki kayıtsız kalmadı ve doğum günümü kutladı :) Beyoncé bunu yaptığında şoktan çekememiştim ama Pink'te bunu kaydedebildim :) Dikkatini çekmek için böyle bir şey yaptığımdan ötürü üzgünüm sevgili Pink ama işe yaradı :)

Then the time arrived. She came in with an amazing stage show. She started the concert with "Get The Party Started", swaying herself from the chandelier above. The dances, stage setup and of course the performance were great. When I first watched her 2 years ago, I had the same pleasure, again. This time, as I did at Beyoncé concert, I opened a poster with a little white lie and wrote that it was my birthday. You can also read Beyoncé concert post here. Anyway, Pink obviously couldn't stay indifferent and celebrated my birthday :) I was shocked when Beyoncé did it, but this time I could record Pink :) I'm sorry I did something like this to get your attention, dear Pink, but it worked :)

Konserin geri kalanı da oldukça büyüleyiciydi. Sık sık kostüm değiştirip birçok performans yaptı. Havalarda uçmalar, sahnede atlamalar zıplamalar... Takip etmek çok zordu doğrusu :) Ayrıca konserde kendi şarkısı olmadığı için çok imrendiği ve söylemekten keyif aldığını belirttiği Bishop Briggs'in River şarkısını da seslendirdi. Çok iyiydi. Ne zaman Pink konseri seyretsem ya da bu şekilde konserde görme imkanı bulsam asla hayal kırıklığına uğramıyorum. Pink gibi kendini sahnesine adayan, mesleğinin hakkını veren insan sayısı bence çok az. Seni seviyoruz!

The rest of the concert was quite fascinating. She often changed costumes and performed many stunts. Flying in the air, jumping on the stage from one place to another... It was very difficult to follow her :) Besides, she sang Bishop Briggs' s song River and admitted that she envies since this song does not belong to her. Everything was very good. I'm never disappointed when I watch Pink's concert somewhere online or personally at the concert. I think there are very few people like Pink who dedicate themselves to their music, do justice to their profession. We love you!
